Dalton Trumbo’s The Brave One Among BoPaul Media’s Global Sales

LOS ANGELES: BoPaul Media Worldwide (BMW) has inked deals in Germany and Japan for a selection of titles from VCI Entertainment, including Dalton Trumbo’s The Brave One.

BoPaul Media Worldwide acquired U.S. video producer/distributor VCI Entertainment’s entire 600-hour catalogue last year, and Tohokushinsha Film Corporation in Japan picked up all rights for The Brave One, from blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. The 100-minute film has been scanned from the original negative to HD. Tohokushinsha Film Corporation will premiere a digitally remastered version of The Brave One on its movie channels in time for the theatrical release in Japan of the feature film Trumbo, about the titular writer.

Additionally, BMW licensed all rights for Bruce Lee’s Deadly Fingers, The Aftermath and The Giant Spider Invasion to DigiDreams Studios in Germany. DigiDreams will scan the titles to 2K and dub them into German.
