CPLG Canada Appoints Senior Licensing Director

TORONTO: CPLG Canada, the licensing arm of Cookie Jar, has named Al Fedrigoni as its senior licensing director, handling brands such as Johnny Test, Inspector Gadget, The Latest Buzz and Totally Spies.

Fedrigoni will also oversee properties such as The World of Eric Carle. He will continue to build the successful design brand It’s Happy Bunny as well. Fedrigoni previously held executive positions at The Walt Disney Company in Canada, most recently as the director of licensing for all toy categories. There, he was responsible for the Canadian toy launches of such hit franchises as The Lion King, Cars and Winnie the Pooh.

“With more than 30 years of licensing experience, working with some of the world’s most recognizable brands, Al is an important addition to CPLG Canada’s team,” said Kelly Elwood, the managing director of CPLG Canada. “Al will play an important role in the growth of CPLG Canada, overseeing key licensing programs, brand development at retail and strategic promotional partnerships throughout the country.”
