Corus Completes Purchase of TELETOON Canada, Historia, Séries+

TORONTO: Corus Entertainment has completed its acquisition of the specialty channels Historia and Séries+ and its takeover of the remaining 50 percent of TELETOON Canada.

Corus now officially owns 100 percent of Historia, which is dedicated to history-focused programming; Séries+, devoted to scripted comedy and drama content; and TELETOON Canada, including TELETOON, TÉLÉTOON, TELETOON Retro, TÉLÉTOON Rétro and Cartoon Network. The net cash consideration for these assets is C$481 million.
