CNE Names Canadian Agent for Ben 10

ATLANTA, September 11:
Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) has signed Segal Licensing as promotional
agent to expand the brand of its hit property Ben 10 in the Canadian market.

Segal Licensing, Canada’s
largest licensing agency, will look to expand Ben 10’s presence at retail in
the Canadian market through licensing and promotional partnerships in a variety of categories.

The series has already
seen great success in the Canadian marketplace with Bandai America’s launch of
a full Ben 10 toy line in
spring 2007, and its fall 2007 toy line set to launch at retail just in time
for the holiday season.

Additionally, home
entertainment releases are available through Warner Home Video. Other partners
include D3 Publishers of America (interactive), SG Footwear (footwear and
accessories), Pressman (games and puzzles) and Bell Sports (safety helmets and
knee/elbow pads).

Segal will round out the
consumer products category by signing partners for all open categories,
focusing first on apparel, accessories and sleepwear.

Ben 10 currently airs weekly in both English and French on
Canada’s TELETOON broadcast network. In the U.S., the series’ fourth season can
currently be seen daily on Cartoon Network and the highly-anticipated
live-action TV movie, Ben 10: Race Against Time, will premiere this November.
