CITV Commissions Third Series of Horrid Henry

OXFORD: CITV has commissioned a third season of the hit children’s show Horrid Henry from Novel Entertainment.

The new commission of 52 11-minute shows brings the total of Horrid Henry episodes to 156, making it one of the biggest animated children’s shows ever in the U.K. The new slate of shows are being produced for a fall debut.

Jamila Metran, CITV’s program manager, said: “Horrid Henry has been a huge success for us so we’re excited to be working with Novel Entertainment to bring a new series to our viewers."

Mike Watts, co-producer for Novel Entertainment, added: “We’re delighted that CITV has asked us to produce a third series of Horrid Henry, which has received such a fantastic response from young audiences. It’s always an exciting challenge for us, not to mention a labor of love, to think of new ways in which to engage Henry with his fans.”
