Cineflix Finds Slots for Food/Lifestyle Series

CANNES: Cineflix International has announced deals with some 30 channels in 20 territories for its cooking and restaurant-based series, including Conviction Kitchen and The Cupcake Girls.

The 16×1-hour Conviction Kitchen has sold to MTV Finland, W9/EDI TV France, SBS Netherlands, Nordisk Film TV and TV2 Norway, Grupo Zeta Spain, TV4 Sweden and  Turner Broadcasting/truTV in Latin America.

Two seasons (27 episodes) of the half-hour series The Cupcake Girls have rolled out to MGM/Casa Club TV in Latin America, Russia’s Intra Communications, MTV Finland, Discovery Norway, TV4 Sweden, Italy’s Digicast/RCS Media Group, Estonia’s Kanal 2, and Zonemedia in Poland and Hungary.
 
Dinner Party Wars has been licensed to the U.K. (Discovery), New Zealand (Living Channel), Finland (Channel Four), Poland (BBC Lifestyle) and Estonia (Kanal 2).

Cineflix has also concluded deals on 19 episodes (two seasons) of The Opener, with sales to UKTV, Discovery for Scandinavia, Channel Four Finland, Real Global Broadcasting in India, Cuisine TV/SNC in France, Israel’s Ananey, New Zealand’s Living Channel, Poland’s Canal+ Cyfrowy, Estonia’s Kanal 2 and Chello Multicanal/Canal Cocina for the Iberian markets.
