CIMG Licenses 1,240-Plus Hours in Asia Pacific

CANNES, October 11:
Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) has secured a number of broadcast
deals in the Asia-Pacific region for the second quarter and third quarter of
this year, totaling more than 1,240 hours of entertainment and lifestyle-themed
programming.

Network Ten in Australia
has picked up E! Forbes Specials,
while Nine Network has acquired seasons one and two of Girls of the Playboy
Mansion
. Additionally, XYZ Network
in the region has licensed BBQ Championship for its Food Network, as well as season five of Whose
Wedding Is It Anyway?
for Arena.

China's CCTV7 has also
secured G4’s Future Fighting Machines. India's Zee Cafe, Zee Studio and Zee Trendz have picked up E! News and 25 Most Memorable Swimsuit Moments. In Korea, Catch On has licensed Behind the
Scenes
, while On Style has
acquired more than 180 hours of content, including E! News, Extreme Hollywood, High Maintenance 90210 and the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards: Fashion
Police
. Super Action has acquired Holy
@#$*!
(Versus).

8TV in Malaysia has picked
up seasons one and two of Style Her Famous, hosted by Jay Manuel. C4 in New Zealand has also licensed House
of Carters
and episodes of The
E! True Hollywood Story
.

In the Philippines,
Lifestyle Network has licensed more than 200 hours of E! and The Style Network
content, including Style Star, Clean House, I Propose, and
Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane
.
Maxxx has acquired the G4 series X-Play as well as the daily series Attack of the Show, while Balls has licensed Soul of a Champion from the Versus channel. Velvet has acquired more
than 90 hours of programming including The Soup, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and Sunset Tan. Lifestyle Network, Velvet, Maxxx and Balls are
cable channels owned and operated by Creative Programs, Inc (CPI).

ETC has licensed season
two of Style Her Famous, while
Jack TV and CS have picked up The Chelsea Handler Show and 7 Deadly Sins, respectively. Thailand's Gsquare has licensed
more than 100 hours of G4 content, including Cheat! and Cinematech.
