Chorion Signs On for Red Nose Day Initiative

LONDON/NEW YORK, December
1: Chorion and Comic Relief are teaming up to make The Mr. Men and Little Miss
brand the face of Red Nose Day 2009's Early Years fundraising initiative.

Launching in January, the Red Nose Day 2009
campaign will encourage the British public to don red noses on March 13, asking people to
"Do Something Funny for Money!" The
Mr. Men and Little Miss characters will be featured in Early Years Kits, which
will be distributed to Early Years groups across the U.K. Comic
Relief's campaign will also feature the publication of a brand new Mr. Funny
story early next year, with £2 from every book sold going to the cause. Mr. Funny's Red Nose Day is being
written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves and published by Egmont.

John Collins, Chorion's senior marketing manager
for Europe, commented: "We are absolutely delighted that the Mr. Men and
Little Misses will be able to support such a worthy cause. There is a character
for everyone so each child will easily relate to one who will inspire them in
their fundraising efforts."

Michele Settle, the marketing director of Comic
Relief, added: "Mr. Funny has been on our radar for a while, so Comic
Relief is thrilled to have the Mr. Men brand on board. There's a lot of synergy
between what we do and the thinking behind Mr.
Funny's Red Nose Day
. It's all about cheering people up, for a good
cause."
