CBS Interactive Renews Web Travel Series

SAN FRANCISCO: Parvati Shallow, winner of CBS’s Survivor: Micronesia, travels the world with only a smartphone and tablet in the third season of the CBS Interactive web series Around the World for Free, sponsored by AT&T.

The million-dollar Survivor prize-winning Shallow is hosting the 50-webisode series in which she ventures off on a 100-day journey without money or pre-arranged transportation. The episodes will be posted every other day on CBS.com. Viewers will be able to interact with her through Twitter, e-mail and an interactive map on CBS.com to offer advice. Shallow will be posting a travel log detailing her adventure, videos and photos.
