Cartoon Network Ups Davidson

ATLANTA, October 3: Jennifer Davidson has been promoted to
the position of senior VP of programming and scheduling at Cartoon Network from
her previous role as VP of marketing, ad trade, consumer products trade and
strategic operations for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.

In her new role, Davidson will be responsible for overseeing
the day-to-day scheduling and strategic positioning of all on-air content for
Cartoon Network and Boomerang, as well as on-air promotion for Adult Swim. Her
duties will also including overseeing the scheduling of each network’s
long-range on-air promotional calendar, incorporating all on-air promotion
strategies and placement.

Davidson’s most recent role was as VP of marketing, ad
trade, consumer products trade and strategic operations, where she was
responsible for overseeing all planning and execution of on-air and off-channel
network brand strategies. Davidson was also part of the team that launched
Adult Swim in September 2001 as a separate entertainment service targeted for
young adults.

Davidson was an early member of
the Cartoon Network team when it was launched in 1993. She began her career
with the company as a production and operations assistant and operations
coordinator and manager, and was later the director of on-air promotion

operations/production, among a
variety of other positions.
