Cartoon Network to Get Branded Block in the Philippines

CANNES: A new deal signed by Turner Content Solutions Asia Pacific will see the free-to-air channel TV5 in the Philippines adding a dedicated branded block for Cartoon Network programming. 

The block launches across the Philippines on October 18, featuring 19 hours per week of some of Cartoon Networks top original shows. The lineup includes Ben 10, Chowder, Dexter’s Lab, League of Super Evil, The Powerpuff Girls and Johnny Bravo, among others. TV5 reaches more than 3 million kids across the country. All Cartoon Network shows will be dubbed into Tagaloog and will air Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
