Cartoon Network Asia Takes MixMaster2

SEOUL: Cartoon Network has secured the cable and satellite rights to Sunwoo Entertainment’s MixMaster2 for broadcast to more than 91 million viewers across 25 Asia-Pacific countries.

Slated for launch in 2010, MixMaster2 has 40 brand-new episodes that follow the adventures of 13-year-old Ditt, who, battling memory loss about himself as a MixMaster, must save his town of Gamebridge from evil Prince Brad and his army of monsters. The series is based on the MixMaster MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game).

Mark Eyers, the VP of content at Cartoon Network, said, “MixMaster2 is a testament to the excellent creative talent on tap in Korea and we’re delighted to be supporting the animation industry with this landmark broadcast agreement. The exclusive regional premiere of MixMaster2 delivers on Cartoon Network’s promise of continually featuring new and exciting content for our young viewers.”
