Cargo Film Secures New Doc Sales

NEW YORK, June 24: New
York-based Cargo Film & Releasing has closed sales for two new feature
documentaries acquired from Wicked Delicate Films.

Zazie Films picked up King
Corn
for the Japanese market in a
deal that includes a theatrical release. The documentary, which follows two
friends who have an acre of corn, has also been snapped up by Sky Arts in the
U.K. Sky Arts also acquired Wicked Delicate Films’ The Greening of Southie, which follows the design and development of
Boston’s first residential green building. The doc has also been acquired by
OLN in Canada. Further deals are pending for both titles with a number of
international broadcasters.
