CABLEready to Represent Weather Channel Series

NORWALK, September 6: CABLEready has been appointed as the
worldwide distributor of The Weather Channel’s natural disaster series It
Could Happen Tomorrow
.

Each half-hour episode scientifically examines the risks and
impact of major disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes that
could possibly hit major cities. CABLEready will handle worldwide sales for 22
episodes of the series, as well as a one-hour special, Katrina Lost, which compares New Orleans-area hurricane
predictions made prior to 2005 to the real destruction of that year’s Hurricane
Katrina disaster. The special also includes comments from scientists, emergency
managers and survivors who experienced the hurricane.

“From the tsunami in Indonesia to the hurricanes throughout
North and South America, the last few years have demonstrated that none of us
is immune to the devastating effects of natural disasters,” said Gary Lico,
president and CEO of CABLEready. “It Could Happen Tomorrow gives viewers worldwide a look inside some of the
deadliest possible disasters, including the Katrina Lost special, which, when first filmed, uncannily
predicted the forthcoming disaster. We’re quite proud to be working with The
Weather Channel, the foremost worldwide source for weather-related content, on
this prestigious new series.”
