BT Vision Names Commercial Director

LONDON, July 31: BT Vision, the upcoming television platform
from British Telecommunications (BT), has named Marc Watson as commercial
director, where he will oversee programming and content acquisition.

Reporting to Dan Marks, the CEO of BT Television Services,
Watson was previously with Reel Enterprises, a company specializing in rights
negotiations, channel development, interactivity and sports. Here, he acted as
media rights negotiator and strategic adviser for the Football League, the
Scottish Premier League and the NFL in Europe. Watson has also worked on
content acquisition for BT and Telewest Communications, as well as advising and
project management for Channel 4, ITV, BBC, ITV, National Geographic, Fox
International Channels and Flextech Television, among others.

BT Vision, due to launch in the fall, will combine access to
Freeview digital-terrestrial channels with a PVR and broadband video on demand.
