Brightcove Releases Enhancements for Core Products

SINGAPORE: Video cloud-service provider Brightcove has unveiled a new range of feature enhancements for its core products, including innovations geared at media and digital marketing customers.

The company’s new products include an enhanced Video Cloud Studio, which features a responsive HTML5 interface that works across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, along with a new upload module and a custom report builder. The Video Cloud Studio is available in open beta for Video Cloud Pro and Enterprise customers, with a general roll out slated for this summer.

Additionally, new ad-insertion developments include Once VOD 2.0 and Once Live 2.0, which allows ad placement on live streaming content. The company has also announced enhancements to its Video Marketing Suite, among them a new template for its Gallery and a revamped audience module.

The product news comes as Brightcove hosts its annual PLAY 2015 conference, which showcases the latest in technology solutions for online video. The event, now in its fifth year, featured keynote speeches by J.R. McCabe, Time Inc.’s senior VP, and Jon Steinberg, the CEO of DailyMail.com North America.
