BoPaul Bringing Vintage TV Movies to Cannes

LOS ANGELES: At this year's MIPCOM, BoPaul Media Worldwide plans to present The Miracle Worker and Miss America: Behind the Crown, a pair of recently acquired vintage television movies produced by Raymond Katz.

The Miracle Worker stars Patty Duke Astin as Annie Sullivan and Melissa Gilbert as her pupil Helen Keller. The Emmy-winning production aired on NBC in 1979. Miss America: Behind the Crown spotlights Carolyn Sapp and her abusive relationship with a professional athlete. The 90-minute film, which sees Sapp portray herself, was broadcast on NBC in 1992.

BoPaul will also be showcasing Mussolini: The Untold Story to international buyers at the market. The 7-hour miniseries, also acquired from the Katz estate, stars George C. Scott as Benito Mussolini. It first aired on NBC in 1985.
