Blueprint Kids, Caring Kids TV Team Up for Live-Action, 2-D Series

LOS ANGELES, April 17:
Blueprint Kids has joined forces with Caring Kids TV (CKTV) to produce a new
live-action, 2-D animated children’s property, The Doo-Its Show.

The educational
26×30-minute series is based on the award-winning Dewey Doo-it books, created and written by Brahm Wenger and Alan
Green. The Doo-Its Show uses a
mix of music, storytelling, animation, puppets and celebrities to teach
children life lessons and show them how they can make a difference through
kindness, compassion and being a good citizen. The show also presents issues
such as hunger, physical disabilities and homelessness, to teach the preschool
set about humanitarianism and charities.

“People have
affectionately called The Doo-Its ShowSesame Street for
the soul,’ a reference that we think aptly describes the spirit, content and
purpose of this groundbreaking kids’ show,” said Wenger, the co-creator and
president of CKTV. “We are looking forward to working with Blueprint
Entertainment to bring Dewey Doo-it and his friends to young viewers all over
the world.”

“We are thrilled to be
working with the energetic and thoroughly committed team at CKTV to help get
Dewey and his Helpful Doo-its’ valiant message of empowering kids with the
desire to make a difference,” said Frank Saperstein, the senior VP of animation
children’s programming for Blueprint.
