Bloomberg in Turkish Venture

LONDON/NEW YORK: Bloomberg Television is partnering with the Turkish media group Ciner Media to roll out the 24/7, local-laguage service BloombergHT (Haberturk).

BloombergHT will deliver Turkish-language, real-time financial news and business information via carriage on cable and satellite platforms across Turkey and the Turkish Republics. It is slated to launch this year, operated by Ciner Media, with Bloomberg retaining editorial control over the channel’s business content. Bloomberg will provide Ciner Media with access to the global Bloomberg News service, including its 145 bureaus across the globe. An associated website will follow the channel launch.
