BLE Lines Up New Panel on Licensing Growth Potential

LONDON: At next week’s Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), Bruno Schwobthaler, senior licensing exec and author of Licensing for Growth, is slated to lead a panel of experts to discuss successful licensing strategies and examine where future growth may come from.

The panel will include Hilary Plummer, the licensing director for LEGO; Fredda Hurwitz, the global chief strategy officer at Havas Sport & Entertainment; Malcolm Pinkerton, the director of research at Planet Retail; and Ilaria Rossi, the senior licensing manager at Adidas. It will take place on Wednesday, October 14, at 11:30 a.m. in the Brands & Lifestyle Theatre. The panel will address trends and future strategies, focusing on where growth could come from. It will feature the point of view of the consumer, IP owner, manufacturer and retailer.
