BKN Returns to Brand Licensing Europe

LONDON,
September 27: BKN New Media will be exhibiting at next week’s Brand Licensing
Europe convention for the first time in a number of years, looking to shore up
partners on its licensing-friendly properties Dork Hunters From Outer Space and Zorro:
Generation Z
, geared to kids 8 to 12.

The
comedy/adventure series Dork Hunters From
Outer Space
follows the adventures of Mac, Nikki, Romeo, and their earthbound
friends Eddie and Angie, as they take on interplanetary villains known as The
Dorks. BKN will be actively signing licensing deals at the show to complement
the launch of Dork Hunters From Outer Space in the U.K. in Fall 2008.
Character Options is the pan-European master toy licensee and will be launching
a range of toy lines in conjunction with the launch on GMTV1, GMTV2, Freeview
and Sky Kids. The series has also been licensed to RTL II Germany, who will be
launching the show in spring 2008, as well as to CTC (Russia), Fox 8
(Australia) and TV7 (Bulgaria).

BKN
will also be showcasing Zorro: Generation Z, which brings the classic hero
into the modern age, as he fights crime on a purple motorcycle called the
Tornado-Z, toting a Z-Pod, Z-Phone and other gadgets. Broadcast partners
include Mediaset (Italy), Telemundo (U.S.), CTC (Russia), SABC (South Africa),
Fox 8 (Australia), Falcon Film (Middle East), Rede Record (Brazil), MBC (Middle
East), RTM (Malaysia), TMC (Turkey), Fairmead (South Africa) and TV7
(Bulgaria).
