BBC Worldwide Gears Up for Latin American Showcase

NEW YORK, July 28: BBC Worldwide Americas will hold its BBC
Showcase Latin America for the third year, with the event slated to take place
at the JW Marriot Hotel in Rio de Janeiro from September 17 to 19.

Targeting buyers from across the region, the event will
offer up about 400 hours of programming, led by Ancient Rome—The Rise
and Fall of an Empire
, Robin Hood, Galapagos, Planet Earth,
Charlie & Lola
, The Secret
Show
and Doctor Who. Broadcasters already confirmed to attend include
Telefe Argentina, Globo TV Brazil, Televisa, Canal 22 Mexico, Globosat, Fox
Latin American Channels and Chilevision, among others.
