BBC, ITV Fare Joins mio TV

SINGAPORE: SingTel’s IPTV platform mio TV, which recently added Granada TV to its lineup, is now offering subscribers two new on-demand channels featuring dramas and documentaries from the U.K., sourced from ITV Global Entertainment and BBC Worldwide.

British Drama and British Documentary launched on the service today and are available for a monthly fee. Together with ITV Global’s entertainment channel for Asia, Granada TV, the on-demand services are also on offer through the SuperSaver English Pack for S$19.90 per month. 

The British Drama channel features Spooks, Doctor Who, Jane Eyre, Britannia High, Agatha Christie’s Marple and Wuthering Heights, among others. Titles on the British Documentary channel include SuperHuman and Pompeii. Also available on an a-la-carte basis is a selection of on-demand programs from the BBC and ITV, some as recent as one month after their U.K. telecast.
