BBC Inks New Output Deal with RAI

LONDON, October 17: BBC Worldwide has signed a new
three-year output deal with RAI, marking its tenth output deal with the Italian
public broadcaster in three decades.

The deal gives RAI a raft of BBC Worldwide’s new factual
programming for its terrestrial channels RAI UNO, RAI DUE and RAI TRE. Some titles will also air on RAI
Educational. The second part of the BBC series, Planet Earth, will be among the first programs purchased under the
new deal, along with a package of Natural World titles.
