BBC, HBO Co-Produce Crime Thriller

LONDON, August 8: Production has begun on Five Days, a five-part crime thriller that the BBC is
co-producing with HBO.

Slated to air on BBC One, the limited series, penned by
Gwyneth Hughes, tracks five days following the abduction of a young mother. The
cast includes Christine Tremarco, David Oyelowo, Hugh Bonneville, Janet McTeer,
Penelope Wilton and Patrick Malahide, among others.

Producer Paul Rutman (The Virgin Queen) commented, "Five Days is a gripping, multi-stranded story about the kind
of fascinating crime which holds the front pages of our national newspapers and
which terrifies and obsesses us in a compulsion to know more."
