Bavaria Adapts Mishka Ben-David Novels as TV Series

MUNICH: Bavaria Pictures is in development on The Agency, a series based on the novels of Israeli writer and former senior Mossad officer Mishka Ben-David. 

The series, sold as 6×90 minutes or 12×45 minutes, centers on an operative, who is vetted by Mossad. Traveling on a different passport and using a different name, he is sent into terrorist locations in a range of dangerous missions. His private life and work for Mossad are often at odds. here are four published novels (Duet in Beirut, Encounter in Berlin, Forbidden Love in St. Petersburg and Last Visit to Moscow) and three original stories written for the screen based on Ben-David’s personal experience and authentic knowledge.

The Agency is being planned as a three country co-production between Philipp Kreuzer for Bavaria Pictures in Germany, Eitan Evan of Evanstone Films in Israel and Debbie Nightingale of The Nightingale Company in Canada. 

Bavaria will also be handling worldwide sales.
