BabyFirst Rolls Out in Turkey

LOS ANGELES, April 10:
BabyFirst, a 24/7 commercial-free channel for babies, toddlers and their
parents, has launched in Turkey via satellite provider Digiturk, reaching 2
million subscribers.

The channel’s most recent
rollout follows partnerships secured with terrestrial and satellite operators
throughout Europe, Asia and North and South America. These include Rogers Cable
and Bell ExpressVu in Canada, CanalSat in France, BSkyB in the U.K. and
ChungHwa in Taiwan. BabyFirst is also available in Mexico, Panama and the
Caribbean. In the U.S., BabyFirst is available on DISH Network, DIRECTV and
select Comcast and Charter markets.

The channel and its
programming are under the guidance of an advisory board comprised of
internationally noted child psychologists, educators and pediatricians. The
Turkish feed of BabyFirst will also offer parenting tips that include valuable
information on relevant issues for the local audience.

“We are extremely pleased
that BabyFirst has joined the family of Digiturk channels,” said Esra Özaral,
the director of content and acquisitions for Digiturk. “Now that BabyFirst has
begun airing on Digiturk, families will enjoy spending quality time with their
infants/toddlers and Digiturk will continue to offer educational program
content to its viewers.”

“We are delighted to join
with Digiturk in bringing BabyFirst to families throughout Turkey,” added Glenn
Kopelson, the executive VP of distribution for BabyFirst. “We look forward to
our launch later this month on Digiturk, and starting a long and successful
association with this globally recognized satellite provider.”
