Aviation Networks Aerostar TV & AeroCinema Tie Up

TORONTO/PARIS: Aerostar TV and AeroCinema have reached an agreement to develop a long-term strategic alliance in the areas of content production and channel distribution.

Through the collaboration, the aim is to create in the future the world’s largest global aviation- and space-themed channel. The French-based Aerostar TV is led by Bernard Chabbert, a world-renowned aviator with more than four decades of experience as an award-winning aviation journalist and documentary producer in the area of aerospace for France’s public broadcaster France 3. Aerostar TV is distributed on France’s Orange, Free and Bouyigues, reaching a user base in France of more than 16 million. AeroCinema is a Canada-based VOD channel owned by Eureka Media. The service offers more than 150 hours of full HD documentaries aimed at aviation enthusiasts.

Chabbert, the CEO of Aerostar TV, and Philip Osborn, the CEO of AeroCinema, said, “We are very excited to have put together the dream team of aviation specialized documentary producers and channels, able to reach a planetary TV audience in this exciting genre.”
