Australia’s TEN Takes Dance Format

SYDNEY, July 27: Early next year, Australian broadcaster
Network Ten will launch its own version of So You Think You Can Dance, a talent competition that has been a hit for FOX in
the U.S.

The show comes from 19 Entertainment’s Simon Fuller and
Nigel Lythgoe and Dick Clark Productions. It looks for the best undiscovered
dancing talent in the country. “So You Think You Can Dance is one of the most dynamic formats to come our way,”
said David Mott, TEN’s chief programming officer. “It has excitement, glamour
and style—exactly what the TEN audience expects and a perfect addition to
what is already a dynamic entertainment lineup for us throughout the year.

Meanwhile, season three of So You Think You Can Dance, currently airing on FOX, will launch on TEN in late
August.
