AT&T U-verse & Starz Extend Affiliation Agreement

DALLAS/ENGLEWOOD: AT&T U-verse TV has extended its affiliation agreement for Starz Entertainment’s premium channels, HD and on-demand services, along with expanding the deal to include the authenticated online rights for subscribers.

The AT&T U-verse TV service currently offers 17 premium channels and feeds from Starz Entertainment. Advanced services include five channels in HD, as well as Starz On Demand, Encore On Demand, Starz HD On Demand and Encore HD On Demand. AT&T U-verse also acquired the authenticated online rights to deliver the Starz Online and Encore Online services for its premium subscribers. As part of the agreement, AT&T U-verse also has the rights to deliver the MoviePlex premium channel and associated MoviePlex On Demand, MoviePlex HD On Demand and MoviePlex Online services in the future.
