Atlantyca in Chinese Deal on Geronimo Books

MILAN: One of China’s leading children’s publishing houses, 21st Century, is set to roll out 60 titles in the Geronimo Stilton book series, after inking a deal with Italy’s Atlantyca Entertainment.

The Geronimo Stitlton stories focus on the life and adventures of a bestselling author called Geronimo Stilton, who is actually a mouse living in New Mouse City on Mouse Island. The books have been published in 33 languages and have sold more than 16 million copies to date in Italy alone, with 30 million being sold worldwide. 21st Century will publish an initial ten titles, including Attack of The Bandit Cats, The Mona Mouse Code, Four Mice Deep In the Jungle and Surf’s Up, Stilton.

Atlantyca is working with MoonScoop on a Geronimo Stilton animated series for the fall.
