ATF Lines Up Commissioners for Animation Lab

SINGAPORE: Commissioners from Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, DHX Media and Turner, among other companies, are taking part in the three-day Animation Lab pitching event at this year's Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF).

The lineup of commissioners includes Thom Chapman, the territory manager for distribution at DHX Media (Canada); Silas Hickey, the creative director for Asia-Pacific animation development at Turner International Asia Pacific (Hong Kong); Kay Jung, the investment head manager for animation at CJ E&M (South Korea); and Eugene Kang, the president of Synergy Media (South Korea). Also set to take part in the event are Eun Sun Lee, the acquisition manager for Tooniverse at CJ E&M (South Korea); Leslie Lee, the executive director of programming, branded media and content at The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia); Syahrizan Mansor, the senior director for Nickelodeon programming and creative for Asia at Viacom International Media Networks (Singapore); Stella "Jin Nam" Noh, the head of new media planning, contents strategy and investment at SK Broadband (South Korea); and Damien Tromel, the senior executive of acquisitions, creative and international co-productions at DreamWorks Animation (U.S.A.).

Animation Lab is a three-day closed-door pitching event dedicated exclusively for animation producers to pitch their animation projects and ideas to internationally renowned broadcasters, leading commissioners and financers. This year, ATF Animation Lab will introduce Up-Close with Commissioners, a two-day knowledge sharing session that will give all delegates more opportunities to tap on the minds of renowned commissioners.
