Asia’s Li TV to Debut Michelin-Inspired Show

HONG KONG: Asian lifestyle channel Li TV International is set to debut its first original production, the two-part series Quest for Stars, on March 20 and 27.

The show will focus on the Michelin Guide, which was introduced in Hong Kong and Macau in 2008, and the criteria the guide uses to rate restaurants. Quest for Stars will be hosted by food writer and critic Reggie Ho and will feature interviews with chefs, food critics, bloggers and Michelin Star recipients.

Anne Chan, the general manager of Li, remarked: “Producing Asian content like Quest for Stars that captures the evolving and inspiring regional trends is our channel’s mission. I’m thrilled that we have embarked on this journey, with more original content to come in 2011 to showcase the latest in Asian lifestyles and talents.”
