TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats has sold Connected into more than 15 territories, including two new license deals in Europe.

Production has already begun on a local version in Ukraine, with 1+1 producing the show in-house. Romania’s Sinevizyon is also producing a treatment for Kanal D. Both are set to launch in early 2011. Ahead of the format’s launch at MIPCOM, five pre-sales had already been wrapped up, including the U.S., Norway, Sweden, Denmark and France. Connected is a self-filmed journey of five women who don’t know each other but become connected thematically through the series. The show first made its debut in Israel, where it came the highest rated TV program on cable in the country’s history.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said, "As part of our catalogue of ground-breaking 3.0 formats, Connected emphasizes our dedication to introducing cutting-edge programming with inherent cross-platform elements to the global TV market. Connected is the future of reality TV—intimate, unscripted, provocative and utterly candid. We are thrilled at its brilliant reception and look forward to working together with our partners around the world to bring this revolutionary format to TV screens."
