Armoza Scores Further Pickups for The Bubble

TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats’ game show The Bubble has been ordered for full seasons by SVT in Sweden and Holland’s BNN/NED3.

SVT will launch a full 12-episode season of The Bubble in prime time on March 21, hosted by Rickard Olsson. Celebrities on the contestant roster include former Minister of the Swedish government Lars Leijonborg, footballer Glenn Hysen, as well as TV personalities, journalists and comedians. The Bubble will be produced by Jarowskij, a member of the Zodiak Group.

The commission of The Bubble on BNN/NED3 will see seven episodes produced by SkyHigh/BlazHoffski, the company that also produced the pilot. The show will be hosted by Patrick Lodiers.

In the U.K., Hat Trick is currently producing a six-episode season for the BBC, with host David Mitchell and a panel of comedian contestants. Katie Taylor, an entertainment executive for the BBC, said: “We look forward to bringing this innovative comic news format to our audiences. The show has enjoyed international success and will complement our growing portfolio of entertainment shows.”

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, added, "We’re excited to partner with these top broadcasters and production companies to launch three new seasons of The Bubble this spring. The humor and style of the show emphasize the ‘believe-it-or-not’ nature of many of today’s headlines and the people who are addicted to them. We’ve always believed in the format and are looking forward to seeing how it grows and evolves."
