Armoza Lands Further Deals on The Package

TEL AVIV: A fifth season of Armoza Formats’ The Package has been commissioned by Greek broadcaster Alpha TV, while in Finland, TV2 has extended its deal for a third season.

The Package, which just broadcast its 150th episode in Greece, has been Alpha’s highest rated prime-time show. In Finland, the latest season’s first episode pulled in ratings higher than the previous two seasons for TV2. The feel-good format follows a parcel as it is sent from person to person, each time with different objects inside that reveal the unique connections between people. The Package has previously aired in Israel on Reshet Channel 2, in Poland on PULS (former FOX channel) and in Holland on NCRV.

Alpha TV’s program director, Alkistis Maragoudaki, said: "Alpha TV is very pleased with the consistent performance of The Package on the channel. For the past four seasons, it has been our highest rated show, retained audience loyalty, and proven itself as a popular and profitable prime-time format. We are more than happy to begin production on season five of one of our channel’s signature programs."

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said, "The Package continues to be one of our best-selling and most audience-beloved formats. Its simple premise and heartwarming message resounds in every territory and adaptation. Recently, the format has acquired new added value with sponsorship opportunities by post offices and international and local delivery companies, which are using the program to promote brand awareness."
