AOL to Launch New Video Portal

DULLES, July 31: AOL is launching a new video portal
featuring more than 45 channels with content from, among others, A&E
Television Networks, MTV Networks, Turner Broadcasting System and Warner Bros.
Entertainment, as well as user-generated videos.

AOL will preview a beta version of the new portal later this
week at www.aolvideo.com. Content will be
accessible by video search, a browse function or by using an interactive
programming guide. Streaming content will be available for free, but users will
also be able to purchase and download videos for broadcasting on portable
devices and PCs.

Among the initial content partners are A&E Television
Networks, Endemol USA, LIME, MTV Networks, National Lampoon, SORPRESA!, TBS,
TNT, Warner Bros. Entertainment and WNBA, among others. Among the titles that
will be available for download are A&E’s Inked and Criss Angel Mindfreak; documentaries from The History Channel; Fear
Factor South Africa and Anything
for Love from Endemol USA; Comedy Central’s
Chappelle’s Show; Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob
SquarePants and Zoey 101; The N’s Degrassi: The Next Generation; MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Real World; TNT’s The Closer and Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the
Stories of Stephen King; and library titles
from the Warner Bros. catalogue such as Babylon 5 and The Jetsons.

In addition, AOL and its joint venture partners program a
variety of additional channels including: In2TV, TMZ.com, Lat34.com, AOL Uncut
Video, AOL Music, AOL News, AOL Coaches, AOL Television, AOL Viral Videos, KOL
and Moviefone.
