Anderson Upped at Turner Broadcasting

ATLANTA, July 25: James Anderson has been promoted to senior
VP of public relations for Turner Broadcasting’s Animation, Young Adults and
Kids Media group, after serving as the VP of public relations for Cartoon
Network.

Anderson will now be responsible for coordinating publicity
efforts supporting the Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Adult Swim networks, as
well as the online properties Cartoonnetwork.com, AdultSwim.com, Toonami
Jetstream, Cartoon Network Video, GameTap and Super Deluxe. Additionally, he
will oversee publicity of two production facilities, Cartoon Network Studios in
Burbank and Williams Street Studios in Atlanta.

“James’ promotion reflects his growing responsibilities and
the focus our company is placing on the kid and young adult marketplace,” said
Turner Broadcasting System’s senior VP of corporate communications, Shirley
Powell. “James and his team will play a key role in advancing Turner’s business
agenda for these important businesses and audiences.” Anderson will report to
Powell.

Since joining Turner Broadcasting in 2005, Anderson has
helped lead successful program launches including Boondocks, Aqua Teen Hunger Force: The Movie and Andre Benjamin’s Class of 3000. Prior to this, he served as senior VP of publicity
and public relations at Carsey-Werner in Los Angeles, where he made his mark on
campaigns for shows such as That 70s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Roseanne and The
Cosby Show
