American Greetings Appoints Italian Licensing Agent

NEW YORK: The Care Bears and Twisted Whiskers brands are to be represented for licensing in Italy by Starbright through a new deal with American Greetings Properties.

The classic Care Bears property was re-launched in 2002 and has since generated more than $2.6 billion in global sales. Twisted Whiskers was initially launched in 2001 as a greeting-card line. Starbright will represent both properties as the licensing agent in Italy.
