ALL3MEDIA International Secures New Deals in Eastern Europe

LONDON, June 20: Prior to
the start of DISCOP today, ALL3MEDIA International secured a raft of new deals
for its drama catalogue in Eastern Europe.

The Romanian broadcaster
Pro TV has acquired three additional seasons (seasons 7-9) of the drama series Midsomer
Murders.
The drama follows
Inspector Barnaby as he solves the mysterious—and downright
criminal—activities occurring in the quaint environs of the English
region. In addition, Pro TV has also picked up Elizabeth I, the award–winning drama from Company
Pictures that stars Helen Mirren. Russia’s Carmen Video has also picked up
three seasons of Midsomer Murders and
Elizabeth I for home DVD and
video rights in Russia.

ALL3MEDIA has sold the
first season and pre-sold the second season of the youth drama Skins, also produced by Company Pictures, to MTV in
Russia. HRT Croatia also purchased Skins, along with the latest installment of Midsomer Murders, the family drama Wild at Heart and the new detective drama George Gently, which stars Martin Shaw.

Viasat Slovenia also
secured a deal with ALL3MEDIA for the long-running family crime drama Outrageous
Fortune
, which has won a number of
awards in its domestic market of New Zealand and is currently airing in the
U.K. on Living TV.
