ALL3MEDIA Inks New Scandinavian Deals

LONDON, December 4: ALL3MEDIA International has announced
new sales in Sweden and Norway for its drama, sports and factual entertainment
programming.

In Sweden, TV4 has acquired several properties, including Torn, a 3×1-hour TXTV drama produced for ITV1 that
follows the true story of two families whose lives are turned upside-down when
a missing child is seen 12 years later by her mother; Honest, a 6×1-hour drama produced by Greenlit Rights for
ITV1 that features a family trying to stay on the straight and narrow in a
world that appears crooked; Premier League Allstars, a 1×2-hour sports special featuring past and
present U.K. Premier League stars; the factual series Bondi Rescue, which follows elite lifeguards on one of the most
famous celebrity beaches; and the documentary series Transforming
Keegan
, a 3×52-minute story of baby Keegan
Maley as he faces years of surgery while living with a rare and
life-threatening condition.

In Norway, TV2 Norway picked up another season of Hollyoaks, a youth-targeted soap produced by Lime Pictures for
Channel 4, as well as three seasons of the car entertainment series 5th
Gear
. Additionally, TV Norge acquired Torn.

“There is a definite increase in demand for programming of
quality that can reach a youth audience, and more buyers in Sweden and Norway
are keen to buy these programs at an earlier stage,” said Liza Thompson, the VP
of sales at ALL3MEDIA International. “This is true of both drama—such as Hollyoaks and The Palace—as well as factual entertainment programming such as Bondi
Rescue
and 5th Gear.
