All3Media Acquires Maverick TV

LONDON, June 21: All3Media has expanded its portfolio of
independent British production houses with the acquisition of Maverick
Television.

Based in Birmingham and London, the company was founded in
1993 by Jonnie Turpie. It currently has two peak time series in Channel 4’s top
10—How to Look Good Naked and Embarrassing
Illnesses
. Credits for this year have
included The Madness of Modern Families for BBC Two, Directors Debut for BBC One and Half The Dog Is Mine for the BBC's One Life strand. It is currently
working on the fourth season of 10 Years Younger for Channel 4 and has a number of drama projects in
development.

Jim Sayer, the managing director of Maverick Television,
