PALISADES PARK: Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) has signed a number of new international sales for the two-hour CBS special Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration—The Last Concert, which was produced by David Gest.

The 2001 music event, owned by World Events, a company formed by Gest and Jackson, is one of the highest rated music specials in the history of television. AHDI has represented the production for the past nine years, but re-introduced the title to the market last summer. Recent sales include RTL2 in Germany, China Movie Channel, WOWOW in Japan, YLE in Finland and SVT in Sweden.

“As the song goes, so goes the world, which ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’ to Michael,” commented Alfred Haber, the founder of AHDI. “As broadcasters around the world continue renewing the Michael Jackson 30th special, this timeless 2001 show is becoming an annual event that viewers the world over will be enjoying for many, many years to come.”
