African Show for TV Globo Internacional

SÃO PAULO: TV Globo’s international channel for Brazilian and Portuguese-language communities is set to launch an original series specifically for its subscribers in Angola.

On January 24, TV Globo Internacional will roll out Revista Africa, a weekly magazine series targeted at viewers in Angola, covering distinctive people and places. The show is part of the channel’s efforts to bolster its connection to viewers around the world. Other focused programs include Planeta Brasil (Brazil Planet), for the channel’s viewers in the U.S., and Ca Estamos (Here We Are) for Brazilian immigrants in Portugal.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, TV Globo Internacional reaches more than 500,000 subscribers in more than 100 markets, delivering news, sports, telenovelas, mini-series, kids’ content and variety shows.
