AETN Lands New Sales for Trio of Real-Life Series

NEW YORK: AETN International has firmed up multiple sales and format options on the series Intervention, Obsessed and Hoarders.

Intervention has been licensed to TV4 in Sweden and has been renewed by Canwest in Canada. AETN has secured a number of format deals for Intervention, with it currently airing on A&E in Latin America, and on BIO in the U.K., Australia, Spain and Portugal. A&E Latin America has optioned the format for the series. TV2 in Denmark previously optioned the Intervention format and currently airs the program as a series of specials.

AETN International has licensed Obsessed to Canal Vie for French-speaking Canada, Canwest in Canada, SubTV in Finland, TF1 in France, TV4 Fakta in Sweden, MTV3 in Sweden, Fakta in Finland and TBI in Ukraine. The format for Obsessed has also been licensed to TF1 in France.

Hoarders went to TV Tropolis in Canada; SBS 6, Net 5 and Veronica in the Netherlands; Nelonen, Jim TV, and Liv TV of Finland; TV3 in Sweden and V4 and TV3 in Norway.
