A+E Networks Promotes Within Sales Teams

NEW YORK/LONDON/SINGAPORE: Jonathan South has been upped to VP of content sales for EMEA at A+E Networks, while Ling-Sze Gan has been promoted to senior director of content sales for Asia.

South, based in London, oversees sales for more than 9,500 hours of content throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joined the company in 2006. South reports to Dean Possenniskie, the managing director for Europe, and Ian Jones, the managing director of international content distribution and commercial development for A+E Networks.    

 

Gan, based in Singapore, has oversight for the Asian region, including sales to SD and HD services. She joined A+E Networks in 2007. She reports to Alan Hodges, the managing director for the Asia-Pacific for A+E Networks, and Jones.

Going into MIPCOM, we announced 450+ hours of sales across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America, and Jonathan and Ling Sze were key contributors to this effort,” said Sean Cohan, the senior VP of international. “Jonathan has been a driving force in our international program sales business, delivering successive years of double digit growth, and opening new doors for us throughout EMEA. Ling Sze has been an important player in the expansion and visibility of A+E Networks’ programs and brands in Asia, forging new partnerships in previously untapped territories.  I am very pleased to acknowledge their efforts with these promotions.”
