ACI Shores Up U.K. Distribution Deal with Blackhorse Entertainment

LOS ANGELES, September 24:
American Cinema International (ACI) has formed an alliance with the British
home entertainment distributor Blackhorse Entertainment.

Slated for a November 5
release in the U.K. are ACI action titles Challenge and Final Contract, with The Clown and the thriller The Fashion Victim following on December 3.

The action film The
Death Train Lasko and the thriller
Office Down are slated for release
on January 7, 2008, while the Sci-Fi action film Savage Planet will roll out February 5.

“We are thrilled to align
ACI and its diverse slate of titles with one of the top distributors in the
U.K.,” said Chevonne O’Shaughnessy, ACI’s president, who negotiated the
multi-picture deal with Nick Cooper of Blackhorse Entertainment. “England is
one of the more difficult markets to penetrate and Blackhorse Entertainment has
garnered a reputation as a leader in the market.”
