ABC to Pilot Grey’s Anatomy Spinoff

BURBANK, February 21: ABC is pursuing a spinoff of its hit
medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, according
to the Wall Street Journal.

The as-yet-untitled pilot will focus on Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd,
the neonatal surgeon played by Kate Walsh. According to the Journal, the
two-hour pilot is expected to air in May.

Grey’s Anatomy,
airing in the competitive Thursday 9 p.m. slot, remains a top performer for
ABC.
