ABC News Joins iTunes

BURBANK, August 23: A range of ABC News videos will be
offered on the iTunes Music Store in the categories of “ABC News
Specials," "The Day It Happened" and "Celebrity
Flashback."

Videos will be priced at $1.99 each. "We are committed
to making news available to our audience whenever they want it, however they
want it, and we are always looking at new ways we can better educate, inform
and empower customers on a variety of platforms," said David Westin, the
president of ABC News. "We've had a tremendous response to our World
News
podcasts, and with this new iTunes
offering, we continue to provide what content consumers want and have grown to
expect from ABC News."

The ABC News programming joins offerings from ABC, ABC
Family, Disney Channel, Jetix and SOAPnet on iTunes. Content under the ABC News
Specials offering includes UFO: Seeing Is Believing, The Mystery of Pope Joan and The Anatomy of 'Grey's Anatomy. Under The Day It Happened, iTunes users can access
footage from seminal world events such as the assassination of Robert F.
Kennedy, President Nixon's resignation and the space shuttle Challenger
disaster. And "Celebrity Flashback" offers interviews with icons such
as Steven Spielberg, Grace Kelly and the Rolling Stones.
