What are your product highlights for MIPCOM?
Mercy, Parenthood, Trauma, Royal Pains and Caprica.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?

Our programming appeals to buyers because we have such an incredibly broad palette from which to offer. Our portfolio includes network programming, cable series, scripted and non-scripted, news and sports, as well as locally produced programming from around the world, in addition to our feature films. We also have myriad genres on offer, with something to please even the most discerning viewer. For example, our new medical procedurals each have their own unique perspective, yet still share a commonality of universal themes audiences will embrace. And with a series like Royal Pains, the subtle comedic elements really make it stand out from the crowd. Our new drama Parenthood, inspired by the original motion picture and Ron Howard’s vision, is highly relatable for a global audience and very much anticipated by our customers.”

What are some of the trends you’re seeing in this market?

Buyers are looking for programming with compelling story lines and strong characters to attract audiences, keep them engaged and build loyalty. There is no one genre that clearly stands out, rather it is the quality of the programming that will ultimately generate interest and sales.
